This is a revolutionary new way to review for your APWH exam. Most of the content on this website is taken directly from the APWH CED, so it is factually accurate ("historically defensible"). However, some of the concepts on the left are NOT described in the CED, and those concepts are summarized by students. These concepts are italicized and have an asterisk (*) next to them.
This website has two main parts: the sidebar to the left (or after you click the "menu" icon if on mobile) and the main content area (this one!).
The sidebar is organized into two sections: the "Group by Concepts" section and the "Group by Topics" section. You can click on each section title to expand or hide the table of contents.
Ths "Group by Concepts" section contains each "Historical Development" on the APWH CED. The string of letters and numbers in the table of contents you see is the Key Concept ID; this is the identifier that starts with "KC-" on the CED. These are grouped into a tree structure; for example, "3.1.I.A" is a "child" of "3.1.I", a "sibling" of "3.1.I.C", and the "parent" of "3.1.I.A.i". These concepts are grouped in this way because they are interconnected; each parent concept summarizes information from their children concepts.
The "Group by Topics" section contains each unit and subunit (aka topic) from the APWH CED. If you use the AMSCO textbook, this also corresponds to the chapter titles there.
